Who We Are
Urban Tech Daily started as a simple idea — technology writing shouldn’t feel like reading a spec sheet or a press release. Most tech sites either drown you in jargon or just repost whatever a PR team hands them. We wanted to do something different: write about phones, apps, AI tools, and everyday tech the way you’d explain it to a friend who just wants to know if something is actually worth their time and money.
What We Write About
We cover a mix of things — the latest AI developments, honest gadget reviews, software and app roundups, cybersecurity basics that regular people (not just IT professionals) can actually follow, some gaming coverage, and how-to guides for the tech problems people run into every day. If it’s something you’d search for before making a decision, there’s a good chance we’ve written about it.
How We Work
We’re not a huge newsroom with a hundred people. We’re a small editorial team that actually reads what we publish before it goes live, fixes mistakes when readers point them out, and tries to keep things useful instead of padded out with fluff just to hit a word count.
Honesty About Reviews
Nobody on our team gets paid to say a product is good. If we review something and it’s mediocre, we say so. Our opinions aren’t for sale, and that’s not going to change as the site grows.
How the Site Is Funded
Urban Tech Daily runs on ads and, occasionally, affiliate links. When an article includes affiliate links, that’s disclosed within the piece — we may earn a small commission if you buy through them, at no extra cost to you. This never affects what we write or how we rate something. Full details are in our Disclaimer and Privacy Policy.
